AP US Exam Review

THE EXAM IS FRIDAY MAY 6, 2022

Sign up here to get your scores online this summer.

Things I encourage you to do, in order to best prepare for the exam:

  • Create a detailed plan outlining how you will prepare for the AP exam and stick to it.
  • Allot your study time according to how the College Board breaks down the multiple choice questions by time period (this info can be found in the parent night PowerPoint).
  • Buy and use one of the recommended AP US History test review books.
  • Study your lecture notes, homework, handouts, etc.
  • Review the unit introductions and themes for your textbook.
  • Study as hard as you have ever studied for anything, and then study some more.
  • Come to class and any study sessions that may be offered.
  • Get enough sleep the night before the AP exam.
  • Eat healthy meals.
  • Stay with your usual morning routine the day of the AP exam.
  • Keep perspective—as important as the AP exam is, it’s not everything.
