Things I encourage you to do, in order to best prepare for the exam:

Create a detailed plan outlining how you will prepare for the AP exam and stick to it.
Allot your study time according to how the College Board breaks down the multiple choice questions by time period (this info can be found in the parent night PowerPoint).

Buy and use one of the recommended AP US History test review books.
Study your lecture notes, homework, handouts, etc.
Review the unit introductions and themes for your textbook.
Study as hard as you have ever studied for anything, and then study some more.
Come to class and any study sessions that may be offered.
Get enough sleep the night before the AP exam.
Eat healthy meals.
Stay with your usual morning routine the day of the AP exam.
Keep perspective—as important as the AP exam is, it’s not everything.
